DETAILS FOR NORTH EAST – 06 NIGHTS / 7 DAYS

DAY 01 : Delhi – Bagdogra – Arrive Bagdogra. You will be welcomed by our representative and you will proceed to Darjeeling by road. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 02 : Darjeeling – Breakfast at hotel. after breakfast you will visit Tiger Hill. Enjoy view of Kanchenjunga, Mt. Everest & other Himalayan peaks at sunrise. On our way back, visit Ghoom, a Tibetan village. You will hear the sounds of Buddhist monks blowing their giant pipes from rooftops. Later you will visit the 2 Buddhist monasteries Chholing & Darli. You will also experience a ride of a toy train.Also visit the Mountaineering Institute, created by the late Tensing Norgay. Next you will visit Tibet Handicraft Centre & the beautiful Tea gardens. In evening, you will visit Observatory Hill known locally as Makal-Babu-Ko-Thaan. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 03 : Darjeeling – Gangtok – Breakfast at hotel. Today you will drive to Gangtok. Ch.in. To hotel. After rest you proceed on a city tour of Gangtok.
Visit Research Institute of Tibetology, which houses a rare collection of 30,000 books. Overnight stay will be at a Hotel in Gangtok.

DAY 04 : Gangtok – Breakfast in hotel. Today you will take an excursion tour to Tsonga Lake followed by visit to Rumtek Monastery. Later you will also visit Himalayan Zoological Park. Next stop will be the Government Institute of Cottage Industries. You will also have the time to explore Lal bazaar. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 05 : Gangtok – Kalimpong (80 km – 04 hr) – Breakfast at hotel. after breakfast proceed to Kalimpong. chek in to hoteln. reast of the day is free at liesure. Overnight at hotel .

DAY 06 : Kalimpong – Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast you visit to Thongsa Gompa also known as the Bhutanese Monastery. Next you will visit the Zong Dog Palri Fo-Brang Gompa, which is on the Durpin hill. Later we visit Tharpa Chholing Monastery founded in 1937. Next stop is Dr Graham’s Home, a mission school founded by Scottish missionary John Anderson. Later on you visit to few nurseries around town. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 07 : Kalimpong – Bagdogra – Delhi – After breakfast you proceed to Bagdogra airport for your return flight to Delhi.
